A quiet day at home

Why? Because all my siblings and parent are out except my little Sis who is always in her room and my maid who is busy cooking for dinner right now. Its raining and it makes the house look gloomy. Don't get me wrong, I do love rainy days <3

It's raining its pouring the old man is snoring~

And Oh boy, I have been struggling the whole (last) Tuesday afternoon looking for Honours program in different Universities in Australia. I actually had the chance to continue for my honours without waiting for another scholarship application form -_-" SO I blew my chances with Deakin as they had offer me for February intake and the application process was so easy to hand in.

Whilst the other Universities such as RMIT, Monash and Griffith, are giving me headaches. RMIT does not offer my course, so its the first one on the list to be crossed out. Monash does offer but I'm quite annoyed that they don't offer the one in Caulfield, so I sent them an email questioning WHY?! Griffith on the other hand, congratulated me for sending the application UNFORTUNATELY unable to process my application because I did not give my research topic and a supervisor's name WHICH was not asked on the online application.

So with they gave me a contact email, and I sent an email to Griffith Business School regarding this matter. Sadly, haven't got a response from them which I'll wait till Monday and if I still don't hear a word from them, I'll have to email back the International Student. Oh I pray to get it soon, so that I don't have to cancel off my chance with the scholarship. I'm trying to look for other University in Australia but most of them are too far from the City or Halal place, and some does not offer the course middle of the year. SIGH!

Luckily, there's a Career Carnival held at the ICC but I'm going tomorrow with Nee. I've been trying to go there since Wednesday but my dad left at home dumbstruck as he knew I wanted to go with him straight after sending my sibling off to school. Then yesterday (Thursday), I was already at the ICC Gate WHEN my baby nephew made a boo boo that we didn't bring any extra nappies and ended up going home. Haha ALL my chances are like blown away! So hopefully tomorrow I'll be going there as it'll be the last day and closes midday.

Today, received free chicken and some green mangoes (the sour ones; Palam) from my Aunt. She gave two Palam and just by seeing those bag, my face squinted feeling the sour aura from the Palam. My maid is surely going to make Jeruk (something like pickle, put into sugar water+chili, abit of vinegar) out of those.

These are the Palam

Another reason why today is quiet; my baby nephew is sleeping over at his grandparent's home in Sg. Tilong for three days. I might be seeing him on Monday. I'm going to be busy if he cries so much due to the fact his parent wont be around from morning till afternoon due to the military exercise going on. The only thing that I'm worry is feeding him. He gets tantrums if he's not in the right position or the bottle is in the wrong angle. Atleast I can always put him to sleep

Lately, I've been playing my Nintendo DS and playing Mario Kart with Oni via Wifi. Oni is still in Brisbane so we decided to play and as I predicted, I end up last but Oni gave in twice which was nice of him. I also have been leveling up New Super Mario today. It was kind of annoying because I have this thing with patience. Not a patience person when it comes to games. I like to rush things, which I end up dead in between

Anyway that's all for tonight. I hope to blog soon and hope there's something exciting to do.
